Adam is an independent air service development researcher based in Ottawa, Canada. His interest began with what he originally called “route design”: understanding where airlines should fly, which markets could support service, how routes connect, and how schedules shape the passenger journey.
His background combines airport experience, travel operations, tourism research, and specialized IATA training in route forecasting and development, airline business models, and schedules and fleets.
His approach is analytical and candid: define the question, identify the evidence, state the assumptions, test the opportunity, and communicate what the findings do—and do not—support.
